Personal equipment
- Fatigues: These include boots, socks, underwear, lightweight gloves, rain poncho, etc. A wide variety of camouflage patterns are available but the standard issue scheme is a woodland print.
- IMP (Individual Marine Pack): A lightweight medium pack designed to carry up to 24kg. It attaches directly to the back of Marine body armor via three mounting brackets. It's composed of a carbon-fiber A-frame with a water repellent ballistic nylon pack. Though the pack is not waterproof, waterproof liners can be placed in the main compartment and the smaller side pockets.
- Flashlight: A high-intensity halogen white light powered by a rechargable internal battery. Normally mounted to the left rear of Marine body armor, it can also be removed and used by hand.
- Shelter Half: A rubberized canvas sheet that, when attached to a second sheet, creates a small, two-person tent. It may also be used as a one-person tarp. Tent pegs, cord, hammer, etc. are included.
- Sleeping bag: A moderate weight sleeping bag designed for temperate areas, rated to 5° Celsius. Includes a foam sleeping pad.
- Thermal fatigues: Two sets of underwear, one for cold climates and one for warm climates. The cold weather set consists of "longjohn"-style shirt and pants, with thick socks. The warm weather set consists of Goretex®-like T-shirt and shorts to remove perspiration.
- Parka: A cold weather overcoat with hood, themal socks, snow boots, etc.
- Combat webbing: Though mentioned, this equipment isn't a separate item. Webbing is actually included in the Marine body armor system, providing a load-bearing harness and pistol belt with various pouches and attachment points for equipment. Only the pistol belt is removable for use separately.
